I am not trying to “translate professional knowledge.” I just want classmates to stay with it for ten more seconds.
When I first looked up first-aid information, I found that much of it was highly technical. Even if a high-school student could understand it, that did not mean they would want to keep reading. I began wondering whether football — something I already knew well — could make the ideas easier to remember. So I tried using players, match stories, and visual posters to explain AEDs, CPR, and sports safety.

Series 1 begins with AEDs and cardiac arrest. My hope is simple: if a classmate comes only to look at a football-star poster, maybe they will also remember what an AED is.

Series 2 turns injuries, first aid, and sports-health questions behind the World Cup into content that is easier to browse.

These posters cannot replace professional first-aid training. I hope they can do one small thing: make a classmate who would never click on a first-aid article stay for ten extra seconds and become curious enough to learn more.
